Porcupine Rim, Moab Utah 2003- Biking - Added:September 23, 2003

Me, Eric, and Brian decided to take a road trip to southern Utah to ride the world famous Porcupine Rim Trail. The trail is 4 miles of tough technical uphill, followed by over 14 miles of screaming downhill and it finishes with a 6 mile fast pavement ride back to the truck. It is what i call a great ride.

Steamboat Springs, CO- Snowboarding - Added:May 8, 2003

Me and Eric took a road trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, home of champagne powder. It was a great weekend of snowboarding, with almost 3 feet of snow falling in a couple of days.

Nine Mile Canyon, UT- Summer - Added:May 8, 2003

TNine Mile Canyon (which is realy more like 50 miles long), is one of the premier places in this country to see pectroglyphs. It is an outdoor museum displaying Indian art that is centuries old.

The Golden Spike- Travel - Added:April 6, 2003

Me and Angie took a drive out to the Golden Spike. It is the place in Utah where the Union Pacific and the Central Pacific met to create the first transcontinental railroad. Along the way we stopped at the Thiokal Propulsion Lab. It is where they make such cool things as the boosters on the Space Shuttle, as well as a bunch of Missles.

On September 6, 2001 my good friend Long Beach Mike came out to Utah to visit me. We ended up taking a road trip down to Bryce Canyon. At Bryce Canyon National Park, erosion has shaped colorful Claron limestones, sandstones, and mudstones into thousands of spires, fins, pinnacles, and mazes. Collectively called "hoodoos," these colorful and whimsical formations stand in horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters along the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in Southern Utah. Here are the pictures from that trip.

2002 Winter Olympics- Winter - Added:July 16, 2002

As you already know the 2002 Winter Olympics have hit Salt Lake City, Utah. What you might not have known is that Park City was the official party site of the olympics. It was amazing the amount of people that showed up and flooded this town. Main Street was turned into a pedestrian mall, with huge big screens everywhere, and people lined up shoulder to shoulder.

In early March Eric and I took a road trip up to Jackson Hole, WY to do some killer snowboarding. It was even more amazing than I had imagined, and we even got dumped on the second day. The terrain was amazing, the weather was great, and the snowboarding was truly amazing. It was a great time.
